i believe that my line originated from isaac who was from easton one of his sons micheal (1815-1883)and phoebe mcconnel (1825-?)had nine childern . i think my great grand father name was william g. the fifth son of this union. have sent for my grand fathers ss-5 to verify his fathers name. any help with filling in hole would be welcome.

I have an old photo I found of a D. C. Yohe (hand written on back) I got it in a used bookstore.
It might interest someone on this message board.

If you got this in Washington Co, PA, it is probably either Daniel Yohe (1819-1901), son of Isaac (1790-1856), David Yohe (1832-?), also son of Isaac, or David Yohe Sr (1817-1863) son of Peter (1771-1830). I don't know the middle names or initials of any of these. If you found it in Wayne Co IA, most likely Daniel. There are a couple of other possibilities if the photo came from somewhere else in PA; and I don't pretend to have a complete list of Yohes from earlier times.

Maybe someone else can positively identify this D. C. Yohe.
