I find this tree:
http://trees.ancestry.com/tree/14711255/person/310426879This Isaac is claimed to have married Amanda Plantz. His claimed father is an Isaac Yohe b 4 Mar 1813 in Pennsylvania. I question the exact location; there is no supporting documentation. It's hard to find much online information about Isaac (1813).
In my line, I have an Isaac Yohe b 4 Mar 1813 and baptized in the Stecher-Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Washington County PA. This Isaac's father is Jacob Yohe (1784-1831) and his mother is Catherine Weygandt c 1782-1852. Jacob's father is Michael Yohe (1746-1832), an immigrant from Germany and a Revolutionary War patriot.
Jacob and his family went to Baughman twp, Wayne Co. OH sometime before 1820, along with Jacob's brother Peter and his family. I have supporting documentation for all of this.
One of Peter's children apparently changed the spelling from Yohe to Yohey (his gravestone says Yohey). It wouldn't surprise me if Isaac changed the spelling to Yoey.
Does this match the paper trail you have?
