Perry G. Yoe's father is Benjamin Franklin Yoe. I am finding out that Perry G. Yoe appears to have been married to at least three different women. He evidently left each wife (not divorced) - what a rascal. One of which was my Great Grandmother Eugenie. Benjamin Franklin Yoe was buried in Greenwood, SC. I am not sure where - family cemetary? There was land issued to B. J. Yoe, he was a Major if I remember his title correctly. Other women married to Perry G. Yoe: Mary A Duncan??? and

Eugenie was a French Canadian with a Royal French Lineage. Most of her ancestors were buried in Trois Rivieres - (also Yamaska)Canada near Quebec. Her family helped settle this area for fur trading. Also they helped settle Detroit, MI. There may be some indian lineage as Jacques Godefroy supposedly married into the Wea/Miami/Powhatan indian tribes. So far I cannot prove that we have any indian blood, but may be related by marriage. I am still reasearching the indian lineage. Eugenie was the last direct ancestor to have a royal title "De Tonnancour." See "La Famille Godefroy" by Georges Foy. Pg. 64 shows the marriage of Eugenie and Perry G. Yoe.
