My mother is a YODERS and graduated from Mapletown High School, Mapletown, Pennsylvania. Her father, Gay Andrew Yoders (b. Aug 14, 1898) was a United Methodist minister serving in western Pennsylvania and Ohio. He was the son of James Andrew Yoders and Dora Johnson from southwestern PA. He had three sisters, Nettie, Doris, and Edna. Edna married to Rev. Ray Jenkins, from Uniontown, PA. Would love to hear from other YODERS. Sandie@nwol.net

Hello,
My father-in-law, Eugene Yoders, lived in Uniontown. I don't really know much about the family. What I have been told: Eugene worked in the coal mines along with his father. His mother died in a chicken-coop fire when he was quite young, maybe age six or seven? Do you know anything about them? Thanks,

Yoders

Sorry I can't help you specifically, but check out http://www.yodernewsletter.org.
There is a abundance of information available. Chris Yoder helped us with this information. He advised that Donald Honeywell is the prime researcher for the SW Pennsylvania line.

Check the Yoder files on:

Good luck!
