Martin B. Yochum Barbara Moore
I am looking for the father of Martin B. Yochum who married Nancy Paralee Dye. They are buried in Stone County, Mo. I believe Martin and your William Yochum were brothers My grandfather was John Raimy Yochum son of Martin B. & Nancy. He was a cousin of Willims children. Barbara Moore was the daughter of Garrett Moore & Mary Ann Davis. Garrett is my great, great grandfather. his father was Levi Moore who was born in Knox Co.Ky. They moved to Missour when Garrett was 11 years old. Do you know who Martin & William's parents were.

William Yochum and Barbara Moore
Martin B. Yochum was my Greatgrandfather on my grandmother's side....I show from my research that he married Sarah Adeline Davisin Jan of 1891. They boh died on 06 Nov 1945 and are buried in Lampe, MO. His parents were William Yochum and Barbara Moore...I don't have a marriage date....she was born in 1823 in Alabama and he was also born in 1823 in Independence Co. AR. They are both buried in McCullough Cemetary in Stone Co. MO.I have found that arbara and William had 6 children...Elizabeth, William (Bud) born in 1853, Thomas, Jacb (Jake), Melinda and last but not least my greatgrandfather Martin in 1869. I too, have run into somewhat of a brick wall here....I have no record of a Nancy marrying into the family...maybe he married twice ? Any info you would like to share with me and I will do the same.

Re: William Yochum and Barbara Moore
My Martin Yochum died about 1897, his wife having died about 1892 or 1894, both died in Stone Co. His wife was Nancy Paralee Dye, daughter of Mariah Johnson and John Dye. Mariah married (2) Hiram Clinkenbeard and they had 3 children. I have as Martin & Nancy's children, Mary Alice, Sarah Jane, Josephine, George, John, Jesse, Elizabeth & W.A. (probably William) but tombstone has only w.A. on it. Josephine died at age 18 and W.A. as a baby. I do not know anything about Sarah Jane. My grandfather used to visit William & Barbara's decendents in Ok. after he moved to Tn.
