I am compiling the family tree of the YEXLEY family. William Arthur YEXLEY, born in London, England on June 17th 1889, the son of Joseph and Annie YEXLEY. He emmigrated to Hamilton, Ontario in 1908 and subsequently
settled in Bradley, South Dakota. He had four sons, Victor, deceased, Sidney, Ernest and Clifford. I am hopefully going to be in contact with Ernest and his wife, but would like to contact any other relatives.
William Arthur YEXLEY, is the brother of my wife's grandfather, Joseph Thomas YEXLEY, deceased and I have quite a comprehensive listing of the family in England. So wherever you are, please make yourselves known to me please.

My husbands grandmother's name was Ellen Annie Yexley. Her fathers name was William Henry Yexley and she had a brother James Henry Yexley and a sister Kathlyn Yexley. She married Wilhelmus Schwartz in London and after the birth of a daughter Nancy they moved to Holland where they had another 10 children. As Yexley seems to be a fairly uncommon name, and I have not had much success with my research, I would be very interested if there is a connection.

Yexley surname.

Robyn,
Thank you for your reply to my request for any Yexleys to surface!
I have not got you e-mail address to reply direct to you.
Mine is as above, if it comes out, but I'll repeat it.

I have quite a listing of YEXLEYs in this country and the States.
If you would like to e-mail me, I would be pleased to let you have more information.
Your husband's grandmother, Ellen Annie YEXLEY could well be my wife's great grandmother.
Looking forward to making contact. By the way, where in the world are you?
I am in Romsey, Hampshire, England.

Best regards,

Brian James Welch.

I am a grandson of William Arther Yexley who immigrated to the United States and settled in South Dakota. Grandpa Yexley passed away in the late 60's I believe. His son Ernest was my father and he passed away in 2004.
