Peter YEWCHYN and Anastasia VERBOVECKY married. They had the following children:

2. i. Hrynko 'Harry' YEWCHYN was born on 15 Aug 1893 in Trombolda, Austria(?). He married Aleksandra 'Alice' OKIS on 31 Jan 1929 in Windsor, Ontario, Essex County, Ontario, Canada. He died on 28 Nov 1955 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA.

3. ii. William YEWCHYN was born in 1877 in Ukraine. He died on 05 Dec 1960 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.

iii. Alex YEWCHYN.

2. Hrynko 'Harry' YEWCHYN-2 (Peter-1) was born on 15 Aug 1893 in Trombolda, Austria. He died on 28 Nov 1955 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA.

Aleksandra 'Alice' OKIS daughter of Wasyl 'Bill' Okis and Ann NYKUN was born on 13 May 1904 in Chornobyl, Kyiv, Ukraine. She died on 31 Jan 1991 in Elk Grove Village, Cook, Illinois, USA.

Hrynko 'Harry' YEWCHYN and Aleksandra 'Alice' OKIS were married on 31 Jan 1929 in Windsor, Ontario, Essex County, Ontario, Canada. They had the following children:

i. Roman YEWCHYN Sr. was born on 13 May 1931 in Hamtramck, Wayne, Michigan, USA. He married Concetta 'Connie' POSEMATO on 08 Feb 1954 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA. He died on 16 Apr 2001 in Hollywood, Broward, Florida, USA.

ii. Alice YEWCHYN was born in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA.

iii. Rosemary YEWCHYN was born on 15 Nov 1944 in Chicago, Cook, Illinois, USA. She died on 30 Jul 1998.

iv. Michael YEWCHYN was born on 19 Feb 1930 in Hamtramck, Wayne, Michigan, USA. He married Theresa PANNARALE in Apr 1954. He died on 13 Jul 2013 in Elk Grove Village, Cook, Illinois, USA.

3. William YEWCHYN-2 (Peter-1) was born in 1877 in Ukraine. He died on 05 Dec 1960 in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada.

Annie YEWCHYN was born in Poland. She died after 05 Dec 1960.

William YEWCHYN and Annie YEWCHYN married. They had the following children:

Ukraine vs. Austria vs. Poland

Thank you so much for all of the links. I have some studying to do! It looks like a lot of great detailed information.
My grandmother was born in Chernobyl and my grandfather in Tarnapol, as best as I have determined.
Iwanowka, Austria was listed as birth place on his draft card. He told my mother that his birth place was Iwananki, Paronopol, Austria.
His Declaration of Intent states his birth place as Trombolda, Austria and the ships manifest states Tromboli, Austria and the marriage certificate states Austria as the home for both sets of parents.
Yet, an obit of another Yewchyn in Canada states a birth place of Trombowli, Poland.
Eventually, I found this: Ivanivka is a town near Trembowla (polish), Terebovlia (Ukrainian) and a part of the Ternopil Oblast.
It was, indeed, confusing. Thank you again for all of the information and direction to follow.
