MUSCATINE, Iowa -- Vera M. Yetter Loga, 80, of Muscatine, died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2001, at her home.
Services will be at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home. The Rev. Barb Burr will officiate. Pallbearers will be Church Yetter Jr., Scott Orr, Richard Orr Jr., Curt Yetter, Gary Vepro, Jerry Kirk and R. J. Strong. Honorary Pallbearer will be Mitchell Orr. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Iowa City Hospice.
Mrs. Loga was born on July 12, 1920, in Davis County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Delpha Hardman Sprouse. She married Henry Yetter on Aug. 30, 1938, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death in 1974. She later married William Loga on April 30, 1979, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Musatine.
Before retiring, she worked at Thatcher Tubes as a header attendant for 18 years.
She loved her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling and taking vacations, especially to Las Vegas.
Survivors include her two daughters, Delpha Preston, of Wapello and Linda Orr and her husband, Richard, of Muscatine; two sons, Charles Yetter and his wife, Patricia, of Muscatine and Rodney Yetter of Davenport; two step-daughters, Carla Hucke and her husband, Gary, of Muscatine and Susan Phillips of Muscatine; 15 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Phyllis Sywassink and her husband, Herbert, of Muscatine and Maxine Gipple of Ainsworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Henry in 1974; her second husband, William in 1995; one son-in-law, LeRoy Preston; one sister; two brothers; and two great-grandchildren.
