Hello,
I'm looking for information on my grandfater who lived in Tupper Lake, New York in the late 1890's. His name is Samuel Yett and was married to Mary Dupel (who's parent I believe is Alexandre Dupell and Rosalie Lauzon). I've been doing some research of newspaper article for the franklin, clinton counties. What I found out is my grandfather and grandmother were both buried at St. Alphonsus Cemetery in tupper lake. I also believe that my grandfather had 2 brothers Peter and Joseph. Would appreciate any input or information in regards to my post. Thank you

My great-grandparents were Alexander and Rosalie Lauzon Dupell. The name Yette/Yette sounds familiar to me, though I don'tremember having a great-aunt Mary. That I know of, Alexander and Rosalie had 4 daughters -- Louise, Florence (Flossie), Bernadette and Victoria. Was there a 5th? There were at least 6 boys that I can recall - Eli, Patrick, George, Ernest (Jack), Thomas and Joseph. Do you have more information on this side of your family?

Thanks, Gisele Dupell Freed
