Hi Grant, My Dad, Edward M. is from North Sydney, Canada. His Great Gandfather William is from Harbour Grace, Newfoundland. We have been told that my Dad has alot of cusins in Newfoundland that he never met. My grandfather Edward B. Yetman never told us about his family. We don't know any of the Yetman's in Canada. Just in Mass.USA. I'm not from Canada. We hope to go to Newfoundland this summer see were the Yetman's came from. Wouldn't it be strange if we were related?
Have a nice day.

Thank you for all your info. Your Great Great Grandfather is my Great Grandfathers brother. His name was George. His father was William born Feb. 20, 1817,died Aug. 19,1895 wife: Patlience Noel born April 19, 1823.All the family was from Newfoundland till George moved to North Sydney, Nova Saotia. My Grandfather and his brother moved to Massachusetts. My Grandfather also George lived in South Waymouth. He's passed on (date not known). I think his family still live around there. My Grandfather was not very close to his family. He never talked about them. He moved the Calif.
The info. I have on Moses Yetman's Mom and Dad is: William Yetman born Feb. 20, 1817 Harbour Grace, married Nov. 19, 1849 Harbour Grace, died Aug. 19, 1895. Wife Patience Noel born April 19, 1823. There kids: Elizabeth Ann dob:8-27-1850, Alfreda dob:2-26-54, dod:12-22-79, Moses dob:2-17-56, George dob:2-28-58, dod:1940, William John dob:1-15-60 dod:11-18-1919, Joseph dob:1875, Francis dob:1877, Jessie dob:1884,

The only ones in Mass. we know are my grandfathers brothers wife and her two boys.

No, we never made it to Newfoundland. It was just to much for all of us to get there. And we really didn't know were to go anyway. I wish my Dad was still alive. He loved doing all this. He didn't know anything about his family. He would love this.

I would love to have your help. As for a time frame. I don't get on this PC evey day. and I only know that North Sydney, Nova Saotia is 4 hours ahard of us.

Hope to talk to you soon.

The time frame I have is vary little on William Yetman 1817. And then only his kids. All tho I did have some on Moses. Then I have George Yetman (my dads grandfather). and only a bet on them. So mostly it's my grandfather and his family. Mostly names of some of them.

Looking for any information on "Yetman's"
from the Harbor Grace area. Willis Yetman came from Harbor Grace to Massachusetts. He married Jessie (Squibb) Yetman and had four children.
He was born approx. 1885. He had four children. William, Walter, Ethel and John.
I am Walter's son. Willis Yetman had brother's Edward and John plus two sisters Beatrice and Suzanna. Any help would be greatfully appreciated.
