My great-grandfather was named Carl Yeske, who was married to Minnie(maiden name Magline) and they immigrated to Pennsylvania from Russia(although I am told that they are german from a german settlement in Russia). They had 13 children of which Powell(Paul) and Ewald moved to Wayne county, Michigan. Powell and Ewald Yeske became Paul and Ewald Edwards around 1941.

Ewald Yeske, now named Ewald Edwards married Anna Tober and they had one child named Paul (after his uncle). The elder Paul moved to Florida at some point. The younger Paul married Martha Motoligin and they had one child, me, who would be named Yeske if not for the name change.I've heard that there is another branch of the family named "Yeska", but don't know for sure. I hope this helps someone!

I am a descendant of Otto Yeske through Carl's brother Edward. His son William Harrison Yeske was my great grandfather & his daughter Marjorie Yeske McMullin my grandmother. Not sure by reading these other post if this is the same Otto & Carl Yeske that you are looking for. From the information I have the name was spelled at one time with a "J" Jeske as the "J" has a "Y" sound in Germany. I don't have hardly any info on Otto & a little on Carl but would be happy to share. Please contact me at my email address lissie24@msn.com with Yeske in the subject line. Hope I am able to help.
