Charles H. YERDON, 70 Chaumont, April 23. Charles H. Yerdon, 70, of Three Mile Bay, who has been in ill health for the past three months died at his home, there Monday afternoon Death was caused by a heart attack which Mr. Yerdon suffered early in the afternoon He - had been troubled with a heart condition during his illness. Mr. Yerdon resided in this section practically all of his life and for the past tow years he had made his home In Three Mile Bay. He operated a farm in this section during his younger years but for the past 26 years he had been engaged in carpentry. He was born in Hammond, Aug. 27, 1864, the son of Franklin and Martha Aldrich Yerdon Closs. He was married to Miss Carrie Bushnell at Depauville on Dec. 25, 1886. Mr. Yerdon is survived by his wife, a, daughter, Mrs. Claude Herrick of, Three Mile Bay; three sons, Clarence at Carthage, George of Watertown and Arthur of Syracuse; two sisters, Mrs. (Ida Yerdon)Eldridge Robbins of Watertown and Mrs. George (Agnes Closs) Jenks of Dexter and eleven grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 from the family home. The Rev. Frank Mindham, pastor of the Three Mile Bay Methodist Episcopal church will officiate. Burial will be made in North Watertown cemetery at Watertown
