I'am trying to research some of my fathers family. My great grandmothers name was Myrtha Streeter Jackson, I have found out that her parents names were Robert Elmer Streeter Lucy Dean Yerdon. Does anyone have information to share?, any would be greatly appreciated. I don't have any specific dates but it would be about 1865(give or take a few years) They were from New York, or at least thats where great grandma Myrtha was born.

Hi Marty,
I am looking into the Yerton/Yerdon/Yerden
family from Berlin NY. Nicholas Yerton and Vinnie Gindling had a son Walter, who had a
son Walter George Yerden. Looking for any of that families lines. Do you think that this may be a line your relative is working on?

Dear Dianne,
So sorry for your loss....
If Noel's mother was born by 1920, and in New York, then I will find her in the census when I am looking for the rest of the family.
I am going to keep a copy of your information and will have it handy when I am at the archives. I only looked at the 1880 census and had to leave. I am going to start with the 1920 tomorrow. Or, have you already looked in the 1920 census for Noel's mother? Please try to let me know before Tuesday 9am, California time.

Hi Dawn,
What time frames are we looking at here? I am sorry to ask, but is your grandfather dead? If so, when you say he is from Florida, was he born there or died there? And what year was he born in and died in?

Hi, I don't know if my family is any relation to yours. But my father's family is from upstate NY, between Syracuse Watertown. His father's name was Sterling T. Yerdon, my dad is one of 9 kids. Born and raised in a town named Redfield, NY. If you have any questions please e-mail me. I don't know if I can help, but I'll try.

Carol,

Yes, my grandfather has passed away. He died
in December of 1998. I don't know when he was
born and yes he lived in Florida, but i beleive he
was originally form Tupper Lake. He married my grandmother Threasa
then divorced. His name is Harold Yerdon. He used to own a bar
called Wally's Inn wich was located on the Balck Lake many years ago.
