Surnames: Yerbury, Dainton
Yerbury & Dainton, both from Beckington, were 2/3rds of the main builders/contractors of Kilburn (North London). Samuel Joseph Dainton employeed 50 full time men and contracted with his relatives from Beckington, Rode and other local villages. There is a mention of this in a local history book on kilburn

Thanks for the info; I'd be interested to see what was said about my 2 x ggf (Robert Allan Yerbury); I'd always thought he was involved in building Yerbury Road in Islington - at the time of the 1881 census it was in the process of being built - but that may just be a coincidence.

Yes, I do have kin there off of 44th Avenue. My Great Aunt and Uncle as well as some 'cousins'. They lived next to my great Grandparents :)

My 2 daughters are Yerbury's.Their father died 25 years ago.
not sure if they are part of your family tree.Father was born in Wales,GB.his father was Keith Yerbury.Believe family may have come from England in past.Could find out more info if you are interested.
