Hi There;
Is anyone on this thread familiar with a Yepiz who was in the American Air Force and spent some time in the 50's in the Canadian province of Newfoundland? He married a Newfoundland lady, moved back to the United States and apparently died at a young age.
Regards,
Marge

Well, I live south of Sonora, my mother's maiden name is Yepiz, she once told me her grandfather came from a small ranch near Fundicion, Sonora, that's part of Navojoa.
Anyway he was Manuel Yepiz, married to Rosario Muñoz Amarillas, and Manuel's father and mother were Eutimio Yepiz and Trinidad Corral. To give you an idea Manuel was born 1869, so I'm assuming Eutimio to be from the mid 1800's.
Hope this helps....

WOW, this is a first. I never heard anyone say that Yepiz is a Japanese name. I seriously doubt that the Yepiz name "Originated" in Japan :-)

Gerardo,
Gracias...
