Hey there Yeomans!! Any luck with the coat of
arms? I'm Caroline Yeomans. Could you send any
info on your family tree and see if we're
related? Yeomans isn't a popular name so we
might be!!! nuttyspice@netscape.net

I'm looking for a couple of cousins, brother and sister, who are originally from Long Island, and are hopefully still living. The man, Lucien Yeomans, and his sister Frances, would both be in their upper 60's now. Does that ring any bells?

Not so uncommon

From what I've seen we don't have as uncommon a name as I originally thought. I just got into this genealogy thing but could we all have the same roots? Seems a little far fetched to me.

I too am new to this although have a fair bit of info my grandfather had done. The yeomans were a very large family having many children each so we may have some connection from one of these children.I have info back to Moses yeomans and Sarah Pratt who were married inColchester CT Jan. 11 1738.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

I am looking for the children of Lucien Yeomans, and Frances Kittle, who were probably married in the early 1930's, and lived in Merrick, Long island, NY. Ay connection we might make would be a real plus for me. They are my first cousins, and I have not seen them for over 40 years.

Sorry, but the only Yeomans that I know/knew was my uncle, Lucien Yeomans, Sr., and of course his kids, the ones I am trying to locate. Lucine, Sr., died in the 1950's, in Merrick, NY. he was married to Frances Kittle, a sister of my mother.

Hi Marg, I am helping out a friend who has the last name of Yeomans. She is trying to find any information on a Cyrus Yeomans or any relative of his. She believes he died in the late 1800's, he was in the Civil War. She is just starting out and is finding that the family (close family) is really closed mouth about their family. Any information you can give will be greatly appreciated. Let me know if you can help her and I will give you her email addy so the two of you can correspond. Thanks again.
