This Yeomans family travelled in Canada from Colchester. David Augustus and family settled in Alexander Manitoba prior to 1890. Many lines of this family are located in Ontario, Manitoba, Alberta dn BC. If you are from the Moses Yeomans would love to hear from you.
I am currently doing the Moses generation from 1710- 1778 down. He married Sarah Pratt. I have located umerous lines from their grandchildrens families. Alfred was a very common name in the family. As I have only made 5 lines down from George Markland Yeomans 1830 - 1922. He married Elizabeth Fry. There over 11 children from this marriage. There is a chance you may be related. dmc@mail.ocis.net

Donna, I saw your message in Ancestry. I am one of the ancesters, my mother's side who met at Alexander, Manitoba about 20 years ago. I found a short note in a book at UBC library than Asa was born at Colchester, came to Waterloo, Kingston immediately after the war of 1812 and remained therefor 2 or 3 years before moving to Belleville, He married feb 17 in Kingston. I suspect you are a Canadian relative of mine. I was a good friend of uncle Allan Yeomans at Alexander, spending a lot of time with him when I was a medical student delivering babies in Brandon. Does any of this make sense to you? I suspect I know you or some of your relatives. Let me know. Dr. Bob Conklin

I am a desc. of Moses Yeomans (1710-1778) via David, Moses, Nathaniel etc). I am trying to trace down all of Moses' issue. I am doing fairly well with Nathaniel's, but moving up 2 more generations is getting to be a big task (particularly sine the families were bigger!). I think that we are related, and I would love to tie in our lines.
