Looking for information on Parents of Katherine Yeckel, born 1 Jul 1861 in St. Julian Germany.
Married Jacob MILLER, musician in 1 Mar 1882. 3 children, one born in Manheim Germany, other two in Marysville Marshall Co., KS.Children's names Oscar, Lizzie (FALK), and Louis.
Katherine had a sister, Karolina Yeckel, died 1917 in Marysville KS.
Katherine died 7 May 1935, Jacob died 7 Nov 1936.

My Great Grandfather Herman Yeckel came to Pittsburg from Germany , His wife was Augusta Koontz or Shultz,,,, He changed his last name to Yekel. would appreciate anything I can get on him

My Great Grandfather Hermann Yekel from Germany to Pittsburg at the end of the 1800s, He was married to Augusta Koontz( shultz) the children I remember that they had were Albert Phillip ( My grandpap) Lena, William, I think there were two or three other children. My Grandpap ended up in Niles,Ohio ,and the Warren,Ohio area.

I think I recall a Paul Yekel who was a cousin of my Dads , My Dad was Thomas Yekel, will check it out and get back to you

I have lost alot of the family history,Paul,
livied in Pittsburgh area until 1955 or so
then to Cleveland...sister,Marie Yekel-Krah
I will try to find the family history (tree)

Pat , I am sorry I didnt make myself clear in last message, I was very frustrated, I typed in information 6 times and when I tried to Submit I lost it so I figure if you want to email me and have me email you what I have that should work ,, Oh and I guess that makes us cousins since our Fathers were first cousins.
