Thanks, Gregory. Dates will help a lot. I have several Fredericks in my files including my great grandfather, Frederick Simon YEITER (b. 1862 In Lowell Twp., Kent County, Michigan). I do have quite a few names in the YEITER branch going back to beginning of the 18th century.

Connie -

Can't find these names in my database. This doesn't mean we are not connected though. I have several ECKERs in my tree, but none fit your George. Is "Nellie" a nickname (e.g., for Eleanor)? dob? for Nellie. Also checked my JEUTTER spelling; no luck. Tom

I too am related to some yeiter's. my 2nd grandfather back his name is John DAvid Yeiter born in Germany married Emma Cleverley in Utah and had 6 children. He died in Provo, Ut 1927. The family has been trying for quite sometime to find my grandfather Yeiter's lineage, and I am currently doing so. I do have a family tree that was given to my mother some time ago on the Yeiter, Jeutter, family from germany. If you would like a copy I would be happy to send it to you. I am not sure how accurate it is. Also found some information on the Yeiters in Ohio, Michigan-this is quite a large family it seems. I am happy to help. Hope to hear from you soon.
