My gr.gr.uncle, Mordecai Yeizer, was in St. Louis Mo. in 1910, although he was born in KY. Could there be a connection there? What dates or approximate years do you have for the YEISER's you mentioned? If there is a tie in, I can tell you a lot more about this family.

I don't know much about this family, since I just learned of it. From what I know, the 1st Yeiser I know of was born in KY. Not sure where, though. The family was in Macon County,.MO and eventually moved to Lee County, IA. There were several siblings. Some moved to Canon City,CO later on. I believe the patriach is Abraham Yeiser from KY. He was married to a Hannah. Had children named Ira Belle Yeiser, James, Thomas and some others.I don't really have dates. I know the family was in IA in 1880.

Monique, I think I have some information to share with you. But, I need to ask you if your family was African American, Mixed, or White? Feel free to answer me at my e-mail address, if you wish.
