Hello Mary,
This reply comes to you almost 6 years after you originally posted, so I hope you still frequent this site or still use the same e-mail address that you registered with. I'm Jeff Yehling, the one who posted back in March of 2001 (a little grown up now, 24), and was googling my name and came across the message I had posted, and I saw your unanswered reply.
Steven A Yehling is my uncle, Steve. He is/was a real estate agent, so that is definitely him. He lives with my grandparents, who would probably be able to aid you the easiest in your search for answers.
If you would like to contact me, please call me on my cell phone, 602-690-1358.
Hope this will get to you somehow..
Jeff

Do you have informaiton prior to Gottlieb Jehling (1745-1820) If so, please reply. I'd love to double check my information and/or add to it.

Paul, your post was so long ago I hope you are still checking the Yehling site. My mother was your mother's cousin, Clara Bell Yehling Miller. I knew your grandparents and had wondered about Louise, your mother. Please contact me. ajmd30@mchsi.comAllie Jane Miller Davis

I have photos of the Yehling family c.1890s
All,
I recently came across a collection of cabinet cards from the 1880s. They include: "Gotleeb Yehling" "Grandma and Grandpa Yehling" (photo attached) "Gotlieb and his wife" (photo attached) "Mama and Papa" (undoubtedly the Yehlings)"
All were taken in Du Quoin, Il, which should place these as your family members. There are several other cards with names on them, but whether they are family or friends, I know not. 8 other cards are from Du Quoin, three of which are of "George and Sophia Wilson."
Would you or someone you know be interested in the four Cabinet Cards or the whole lot of 23? I'm looking to reunite the album with a family member before reselling them by individual piece.
Thanks! Brett Watson Baroda, MI
