I took a 37 marker DNA test and have received the results. In fact, I created a Yehle surname project at
http://www.familytreedna.com/ The problem is that the DNA system works by comparison with other males in the same surname group. By joining the Yehle surname project you get a break on the cost of the tests.
Please encourage any males with the Yehle surname to take the test so that we can determine if any of us are related.
I should have cousins in Wisconsin and Missouri at the very least. The other Yehle's, throughout the USA (New York, etc.) may or may not be related. If nothing else you can use this project to compare yourself to others that are willing to take the test. I'm sure that many of the Yehle's are from different clans from Baden or other locations in Germany.
Thanks
