Cannot see your John in my records. I have children of Mary and George Yeeles of Marshfield, Gloucester - Elizabeth bp1773 - , George 1775 - 1847, Susannah 1777 -, Joseph 1779 - 1806, Mary 1781, Thomas 1783 - , Mary 1783 - , William 1786, Alice 1788 - , William 1794 - and Amelia 1797 - 1854. Amelia married Thomas Pinnell and had two children Jeremiah and Henry. Interesting though that both George and William DO appear. There is a Marshfield families site that might be of interest to you - Yeeles definitely seems to be a Gloucestershire name but I have been unable to get any further back than this as yet.

Hi, Thank you for the information about Sarah's mother Mary Ann. We have tried so hard to find that.Mary Ann, Sarah's sister married Andias Anderson. He was b1844 in Norway. Was your ancester a seaman? We don't have any other info on them. There was another child Isabella b 28-04-1852. No other info on her either but it explains the name Isabella, as children were usually called after a parent or grandparent. If you would like to e-mail me direct as I have most of the "Tree" it's pjnw44914@blueyonder.co.uk.

Hi there

Is anyone still looking for the Yeeles family in Gloucestershire? I know of some from the early 1800's.
