James and Carol Yeckel

James and Carol Yeckel, both 74,
of West Deer Township,
died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011.
Born five days apart, together forever after 54 years of marriage.
Surviving are James' mother, Alice Gibbons; brother, Gerald (Lou) Yeckel; and Carol's sister, Lois Sabina. Predeceased by Charles "Chick" Gibbons.
Also survived by their children, Deborah (John) Rees, James Jr., Robert (Jane) Yeckel, Ronald (Kym) Yeckel, Nicky (Yvonne) Yeckel; and daughter-in-law, Carolyn Mihalevic. Carol and James have 16 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, with one on the way. James was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters & Joiners of America No. 142. Visitation will be held from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME INC., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, where a service will be held at noon Monday in the chapel.
