We just replyed to your message for Justine Verch and now realize that you are seeking information on Steinhorst. Yes, we have much information on that family and would be happy to share with you. Please let us know how you can be contacted. Bob's Grandmother Ernestine was a Steinhorst. She lived in Ableman along with many of her relatives at the start of WW1. Bob Yeck

In reading all these posts about Steinhorsts I am seeing that Robert Yech or Yeck is the person to go to. Almost all of the Steinhorst I run across seem to be in the Sauk area of Wisconsin. My g-grandfather Carl Steinhorst immigrated to Lake Mills WI in 1868. My father told me that they had a large extended family and yet I am having a very hard time tracking any of them down. There are a lot of records at the St. John Lutheran Ch in Newville but still very hard to figure out who is related to who. In reading over some notes I made a few years ago when I was talking to my dad about his childhood, he mentions heading up to Green Bay to visit Uncle Fred and Aunt Idy. Have you run across these Steinhorsts or do you see any connections to the Steinhorsts in the Sauk area with those who settled in the Lake Mills/Waterloo area.

There certainly are alot of Steinhorsts in this area. They came mostly from Besswitz, Germany. Sorry, I do not see a connection to your family.
