Due to my server's continual problems with providing me with adequate service. (They throw me off line constantly, and, now, they have provided me with a faulty dial-up phone number. In addition to the fact that you cannot talk to a real person if you have problems.) I am now off line with AT&T. I will have to get a new server and a new e-mail.

To Susanna Yeakel,
I'm sending you this in case you are back online.

I am Joseph Palme Myers, son of Joseph Nash Myers. His mother was Mabel Nash Myers, daugther of Joseph Yeakel Nash. Joseph Yeakel Nash was the son of Joseph Nash and Emily Yeakel. Emily Yeakel's father was Joseph Yeakel born in 1811. Based on the information I found on the web in your email response to "Lost Email from a helpful Yeakel", it appears you know the rest of the Yeakel connections from there back.

I have been entrusted with the Family Bible of Joseph Yeakel and Elizabeth Huston Yeakel. Some of the dates of birth and death logged in the bible differ from the dates you had indicated in your email. If your interested, I can send you the information from the Bible.

Also, I'd be interested in any information you might be able to provide about Christopher Jackel, Regina's husband, and any prior generations.

Thanks,
Best regards,
Joe Myers

These people were Schwenkfelders. Most came over on the St. Andrew, a galley, on September 24, 1734 from Silesia where they were persecuted for their religious beliefs. You should go to http://www.schwenkfelder.com to find more about them or http://www.centralschwenkfelder.com to learn more about them and see the ship's lists. The information I have given you is from Samuel Kriebel Brecht's book Genealogical Record of the Schwenkfelder Families, written in 1923. I am sure that the Schwenkfelder museum would be interested in the dates/information that you have in your Bible. They are trying to update the Brecht book and correct any mistakes.

I am hunting for the family of Abraham Schultz who was born about 1825 and lived in Rockingham Virginia. I am thinking his dad might have been George Schultz and mom Hannah Trace Schultz(Cromer). Do you think his Dad (if) George, could be the son or grandson of the Yeakle Schultz connections? Like Abraham Schultz born earlier than 1825?
