I have some pictures of a young girl take with a Yeager Furniture sign in the background. Also an obituary of a Mrs. Ada John Nolan which lists a Mrs. C.C. Yeager as a survivor. Any information?

My maiden name is Yeager & we are from Lubbock, Tx. Our Yeagers came from Va., Ky., Ark., Ok., & then on to Tx.My Mom's folks were Nolands from Ok. & Tx.. She had an aunt Ida. Whether there is any connection, I'm not sure. Is there a way you can scan the pictures & send to me? I certainly would appreciate it.
Thanks, Guilda

Re: Yeager-Ft.Worth,TX/Yeager's Furniture
My Great-Grandfather Clarence M. Yeager owned a Furniture Store in Ontario, CA. 1930's? It was called Yeager's Furniture. I have a photo of him standing next to his delivery truck. I'm wondering if the photo of the little girl in front of the store is my grandmother or my mother. Please would you e-mail a copy of the photo? I would love to discuss it with you if it is in-fact my relatives store.

Yeagers, Amarillo, Texas, 1930 Census
I am looking for information on Yeagers who lived in Amarillo Texas in the 1930 Census
1930 United States Federal Census about Leonard P Yeager Name: Leonard P Yeager Home in 1930: Amarillo, Potter, Texas Age: 27 Estimated Birth Year: abt 1903 Relation to Head of House: Son Father's Name: Luther H Mother's Name: Elizabeth M Occupation: Education: Military service: Rent/home value: Age at first marriage: Parents' birthplace: Neighbors: View others on page Household Members: Name Age Luther H Yeager 49 Elizabeth M Yeager 44 Leonard P Yeager 27 Truman A Yeager 24 Vena L Yeager 19 Pauline V Yeager 16 Larry H Yeager 11 Virginia D Yeager 7 Jack Criswell 12
I think Leonard P Yeager may have married my great aunt Jewell Ritchie who was later institutionalized. My mother recalls and Uncle Leonard coming to visit her parents in California in the 1930s 1940s
We did not know that Jewell had been married until we found her burial stone next to her mother and with her sister and her husband/family in Oakwood Cemetery in Oklahoma
Lot 3 in Block 16 of Oakwood Cemetery purchased by C C Earnest
Space 1 Jewell Ritchie Yeager 1912 to 04-27-1944 ? Leonard Yeager ?? Space 2 Mary Ritchie 12-20-1864 to 11-30-1961 Space 3 Lois Earnest 02-15-1928 to 07-15-1930 Space 4 Lillie Mae Earnest 03-28-1902 to 09-21-1990 Space 5 Christopher C. Earnest 10-18-1895 to 05-29-1976
Your post caught my eye because My mother's family was from Oklahoma/Arkansas and in 1930s living in Amarillo Texas. Jewell was 17 at the time living with my grandfather (her brother) their mother Mary and my grandmother and their children. My grandfather was working for the railroad at the time as was the father of Leonard

I am really curious about what you know about Aunt Ida could it be Inah?

Would you be willing to share the picture. I can show it to my mother to see if she recognises anyone. I believe that Leonard Yeager moved to California because he stopped to visit my relatives there. I know that Jewel Ritchie Yeager is buried in Oklahoma in a plot with Christopher Earnest and Jewel's sister and mother as well as the first child of Christopher and Lillie Mae Ritchie Earnest

Re: Yeager-Ft.Worth,TX/Yeager's Furniture
I just came across your post. I have a picture of a little girl sitting on a Yeager Furniture truck, taken circa 1930's or so. A hand written note on the picture "Our little darling Margie." I would love to send you the picture. I don't recall where I got it.
