I am glad you responded to my e-mail! There may have been numerous brothers and sisters, but I only listed the ones I have been told of. Who knows, maybe your grandfather and my great-grandfather were 1 or even 2nd cousins? Either way, we are still kin. Hope to hear from you soon! Per chance, do you know a Tony Ybarra from the valley area? He is a preacher or pastor. You may also contact me via my e-mail address at markybarrag@yahoo.com

I don't know a Tony. What do you mean by the "valley area:?
Here is some more information about my father's family. My dad's father was married to a Sara Martinez Ybarra. They had three children, my dad Juan, a daughter Lydia and another daughter Anita. I only met my aunt Lydia twice. I never got to meet my aunt Anita and I would love to find out what happened to her. My aunt Lydia died either last year or the year before, my Mom would know for sure. My Dad doesn't keep in touch with her children, because they only talk to him when they want money.
Email you soon.
Lita

Lita,
I believe that Tony Ybarra was a pastor or minister for a United Pentecostal Apostolic Church in the Brownsville area. I know this for a fact, because 2 cousins and I are members of the United Pentecostal Apostolic Church organization. Anyways, I don't recall any of the names that you have mentioned to me. I may ask my eldest living aunt, Maria Candelaria Ybarra. She would know these names. I found a whole branch of my family in the Houston area. They have kept in contact with me, and hopefully within the next couple of years, we plan to have an-almost-complete-family reunion! We know that there are many others who are missing in the bunch. And in regards to your comment about the family only calling your father for money...now I know we're related!!! (LOL!!) A lot of my family either don't talk or only talk for money reasons! Hope to hear from you soon!

More information is needed to find your relatives. Who are your husband's parents, grandparents, and where were they born.
Your email is not a bother. We all need to help each other.

Hi! It is no bother! I will try to help you if I am in no relation to your husband. I dont recall any name of Jesse Ybarra. Whereabouts does his family live, and where are they originally from? If you could answer these questions, then maybe we can see if there is any relation. My greatgrandparents were from San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and Aguascalientes Mexico. We reside in Poteet, Texas at the time, and my family has always lived here. Get back, and hope to hear from you soon!
Regards,
Mark
