My Husband descends from Lousia YBarbo of Zwolle, LA.

I am attempting to document his Ancestor's, their Descendant's, family stories and other history.

Would enjoy speaking to other's who may have something to add to what I have.

Thank You

My husband's great great grandmother-was Wincy Jane Y'barbo- she was married to Pierre Y'Barbo--they had Mary she Married Frank Delrio---but before she married Delrio--she had a son by Ezernack--Nicholas Ezernack was his name..

I have his war documents-Nicholas Ezernack: -killed in action--signed by Wilson, a document from France and his military papers.

Is your Ezernack related? They lived on black lake--near Campti.

Was her name "Della Ezernack". I have been searching over 2 years for her ancestors. They married 17 Oct 1919 in Sabine Parish. Frank must have died young and she married a Martin, Martinez, or Martin Nez. PLEASE respond.

Mary Elmira Y'barbo was married to an Ezernack-before she married Frank Delrio--Frank and Mary Elmira married around 1901--he died 1925 she died after 1934--

I am not sure about when Ezernack died but Nicholas was 19 and died in 1919--so her husband (Ezernack) must have just died ---before she married Delrio.

In 1870 census --I found Pierre Ybarbo age 31 living with his father after returning from war---a person by the name of Francis Charnac was living with them----25 years old in 1870..

Charnac is probably Ezernack--

But I just don't know how related to Pierre. Pierre was Mary Elmira's father--and Pierres father --spelling not sure--was--Lahoriando

Census listed these people in home
Lahoriando head household
Mary Labus wife
Pierre **
Martellien
Oliver
Alexander
Jean
Charnac Francis
Rosalie
Clement
Perrier Cosino
Andres
St. Ann

All of these people were on 1870 census in the same house--in the right place--Campti....

I saw your barbo posting. My grandmother was a Barbo. Her parents were Willie Barbo b. 18 April 1909 d. 8 Nov 1980 and Clino Williamson b. 16 Oct 1915 d. 26 Aug 1957. Willie's parents were Felix Barbo b. 30 Jan 1882 d. 15 April 1973 and Julia Ezernack b. about 1892 d. 27 Jan 1972. The information I have is that Felix's parents are Pierre YBarbo and Quincy Jane Mullons. I do not know if this is correct and I don't have birthdates. Do these names seem familiar to anyone. I would be interested in corresponding to swap information. Thanks a bunch.

I Know this is many years later. I hope you already have what you are looking for. I don't know much about DELLA EZERNACK, but you did describe her sister
Mary Elizabeth Ezernack. She married Frank Rivers and he died in 1922. They did have one child. She later married
a Martin.
