Hi Albert, when I seen your message that really caught my eye. I never knew my grandparents on my father's side of the family, nor my cousins, aunts and uncles. I noticed you stated that your father's name is Albert. I have an uncle named Albert Ybanez from Houston, Tx. Will you ask him if he ever had a brother named Domingo Ybanez (deceased) whom lived in Idaho? It would be great to know his side of the family. Thanks, Karrie Ybanez

Hi Karrie,
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. I don't visit this board too often. The name you mention sounds familiar. I will ask my dad the next time I have a chance to talk with him. If you would like to get quicker replies from me, email me and I will stay on top of this.
Take care!
BTW... my first name is Albert but I go by my middle name of Gary.

Hi, my family is Ybanez and originally from San Antonio. My grandma (Medrano) married to Pedro Ybanez II (my grandfather), tell me stories of living in Houston/Galveston with my grandfathers family, I believe he had a brother named Albert, I know for sure he had a sister named Lucy who married a Guerrero. My great grandfathers name was also Pedro Ybanez Sr. and he married Maria. Anyone have any more info? I'm trying to find out whether we are of phillipino(sp) or Spanish decent.
