Thank you so much for the reply. On one of the 1900 census Marcella is being born in FLA, my mother(who has passed away)
said she was either indian or black Dutch. I don't know where to find
out about this. I wish to thank you again for the information you have given me.

Surnames: Yawn, Martin, Fortenberry, Graves, Walters, and others
I have not found the census records for Wesley and Sarah Yawn in 1860 either. But the Civil War records for Wesley C. Yawn/Yon are in the Florida Arcives. He served in the 6th Florida Infantry and died at Greenville, TN on Decd 31, 1862. He is also on the Jackson Co., FL Tax Rolls in 1861. The first marriage book for Jackson Co., FL is missing and there is no record of their marriage there. Also found no record of their marriage in Decatur Co., GA.

My father was Curtis Donald Yawn his mother was Suzzy Yawn . I would love to see the photos . I do have a few that my dad had given me I will share with you also .
