My Grandmother was a Yatsko. Her married name was Laychak. Anna Yatsko was Born on Dec. 24 early 1900's in Bratislava. She came to the U.S when she was 16 and resided in and around Munhall and Wittaker, PA most of her life. She had two sisters who resided in Czechloslovakia as of her death Feb. 5, 1978. I am also searching for information on the Surname Laychak. Anyone having any information would be greatly appreciated.

My grandmother's father name was John Laychak, he was born in March of 1894 in Bratislava. His mother was Maria Laychakova, who passed away in 1950ish. We think he had 1 brother and 2 sisters Bratislava. One of the sisters had two sons, Janko and Michael, born in 1939, and 1946. We think that they probably are still in Slovakia. We were just wondering if you had found out any other information about the Laychak surname, cause it seems like a good coincidence that your ancestor could have married his brother or something like that.
We really don't have very much information on the family, most of it was burned when he died.
