"Elizabeth, dau. of JOSEPH and MARY YATE of AA Co., m. by 6 June 1691, THOMAS PLUMMER (MWB 2:226, 6:212; MDTP 15:180).

From your second list of "YATES Marriage References in Maryland State Archives Noted"....
"PLUMMER, (N), m. by June 6 1691 Elizabeth, dau. of George Yate of AA Co. (INAC 11A:331/2)
The JUNE 6, 1691 date was taken from the will of GEORGE YATE, so who was the JOSEPH YATE listed as father of Elizabeth YATE?
I would appreciate any help on this. There seems to be confusion with the Plummer and Yate marriages.
