Bobby Lee Yancey
FARMINGTON -- Bobby "Bob" Lee Yancey, 65, of Farmington, AR died July 8, 2001, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born April 15, 1936, in Arkadelphia to Hallie Scott Yancey and Bertha Fendley.
He was a member of the Farmington Baptist Church, was a longtime real-estate broker and was owner of Farmington Realty.
Survivors include his wife, Othilia Yancey of the home; one son, Richard Yancey of Prairie Grove; three daughters, Cindy Spears of Cincinnati, Keri Hale and Laura Whelchel, both of Farmington; five brothers, O.A. Yancey of Winslow, James Yancey of Farmington, Carroll Yancey of Woodville, Texas, R.T. Yancey of Sebring, Fla., and Bill Yancey of Lincoln; five sisters, Marilyn Runyan of Arkadelphia, Virginia Walker of Farmington, Elaine Bible of Farmington, Martha Tucker of Gravette and Linda Hendrixson of Bentonville; his stepmother, Louise Yancey of Maysville; nine grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Farmington Baptist Church with the Rev. Preston Beeks and the Rev. Staton Posey officiating.
Burial will be in Farmington Cemetery under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home in Prairie Grove.
Pallbearers will be James Spears, Les Whelchel, Dean Runyan, Gene Walker, Brent Hale and Brian Bible.
Memorials may be made to the Farmington Baptist Church, or Arkansas Baptist Children's Home.
