Obituary: Martha Frances Yancey, 90, formerly of 214 Ottoway Ave., died Monday at Wesley Manor.
She was the former Martha Moore, a native of Washington County, a retired Washington County teacher and a member of Highland Park First Baptist Church and Highland Park Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors: three sons, Wayne D. Yancey of Atlanta and Dr. William E. and Charles F. Yancey; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, McDaniel Funeral Home, 4339 Park Blvd. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation: 1-9 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday.
Memorial gifts: Methodist Orphans Home, Versailles.
Survivors: her common-law husband, Calvin G. Little; a son, Joe Wheatley; two daughters, Beverly Barnes and Sharon Brooks; four sisters, Lois Moore, Connie Koenig, Faye Goforth and Vancie Mulder, all of Memphis, Tenn.; a brother, Bud Yancey of Memphis; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Evergreen Funeral Home, 4623 Preston Highway. Burial: Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation: 5-9 p.m. Monday and 1-9 p.m. Tuesday.
