Milton Yancey, born - June 13, 1927 in Patmos, Arkansas to Willie and Minnie Yancey. Went home to be with the Lord on December 22, 2006. Milton loved fishing and was known by all for his fish stories and his skill for making fishing lures. He was retired from Champion International Paper Mill where he worked for 33 years. He was a member of Second Baptist Church of Pasadena where he faithfully served as an usher each week. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Delois Huett Yancey. His three children Jimmy Milton Yancey and his wife Debbie of La Porte, Texas, Gary Lynn Yancey and his wife Marci Yancey of Willis, Texas. His daughter Tamara Lois and Husband Doyle Davis of Huntsville, Texas. He has six grandsons, James Yancey, Johnathan Yancey, Justin Yancey, Tyler Yancey, Kyle Davis, and Chase Davis. One great-granddaughter Averie Aerin Yancey. He also survived by many other friends and relatives. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 26, 2006 from 5-8 P.M. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with interment following in Grand View Memorial Park.
