DAFFINE YANCY A very pretty, smart, super daughter and super mother, Daffine 'Daffy' Louise Yancy, suddenly lost her life on a strange Nov. 15, 2006. She was only 26 years old. She leaves behind her only son, Demetrius Deskin, 8, whom she worshipped; her beloved mother, Shella Taylor of Eva Beach, Hawaii; half brother, Patrick Yancy of Seattle; aunts, Jody of San Angelo, Texas, and Sharron of San Francisco; uncles, Buddy of San Angelo, Texas, Horace of Austin, Texas, Frank of San Francisco, and Darron; her cousins, Tiffany, Danyelle, Aidreall, Nicholas, Ryian and Nevaeh Simmons, all of Las Vegas, Tishanna Taylor of Reno, and Jordan, Lyndse and Dillion Taylor, all of Texas; her son's father, Jeramiah of Las Vegas, and his parents, Mike and Susan Deskin; and her estranged husband, Sgt. William Comeau of Nellis Air Force Base. She is also survived by her beloved friend, Amad Orr; first co-worker and friend, Karen of Las Vegas; first boss, Jerry of Henderson; current boss, Gregg from the Veterans Administration; the pharmacists from Primerx of St. Rose Dominican Hospital; and her god mother, Casey Brown of Hesperia, Calif. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Davis Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services immediately following at Davis Memorial Park. Respectfully, no flowers, please.
