Dear John,I don't know if there could be any connection or not.My father's name was Virgil Tilden Yenser, his father was Samuel Tilden b.15/7/1877 son of Abraham C..Abraham served in the Civil War.Co.E,192O.O.V.I. There is also in the same burial area a Charles Elmer Yencer d.3/9/1874. In the cemetery inscriptions it says s/ A.C. E.L.. I take this to mean his sons. Maybe they were twins. Samuel Tilden's twin brother was Abraham Hayes. Please let me know anything you can. On Abraham C's war record his name was spelled Yancer. Boy, this can really get a hold on you. My oldest son is a History buff and got interested in all his ancestors that served in the wars. I wish he had gotten interested when I was a little younger. Hoping to hear from you. Mary Lee Henderson
