Hello, I am just beginning to search the internet regarding our family, however, I have a very old copy of the Yale Family Tree, written by Rodney Horace Yale, printed in Beatrice, Ne in 1908. that goes through George W. Yale, who would be my Great Grandfather of Franklin Gove, Il. His son, Seth A Yale was my Grandfather. Seth married Pauline E. Resler in Illinois. They later moved to California and had two Son's, Roland E. (my Father) and Donald G. (my Uncle), both are deceased. I have a son, Geoffrey, who is the last in the Yale line for this branch of the family. We are also related to Milo Yale. The book is really interesting and has extensive info. Seth was a Spanish American War Vetran, Company M, 4th US Infantry, from Ft. Sheridan, Il. organized 10/20/1898. I have documents and info on that part of history as well.
Please anyone with info or who would like me to look through the book to find info, let me know.
Thanks, Richard E. Yale

Yale family in Illinois--that rang a bell! I just posted a query looking for Margaret Jane Biggs & Isaac Yale. I have an 1880 census for Allen's Grove Township, Mason County, IL, which has the following YALE family: head of household David, age 34, born in OH, wife Agnes, age 33, born in New England, daughter Maggie, age 11, born in ILL, son Isaac, age 9, born in ILL, daugher May, age 6, born in ILL.
Are these in your line? Can you give me further info on my Margaret & Isaac?
Mae Watson (descendant of Margaret's brother, William Edwin Biggs)

Hello Richard,
Do you have a Leslie Yale, or his son, Rodney Maurice Yale in your info? Rodney (b. 23-Feb-1932, maybe in California?)married my Aunt Mary Magdalene Covington abt. 1963. I'm not sure if in California or Texas? He adopted her daughter, Elizabeth Kay (Covington) Yale b. 1959 in Texas. But, I know that my Uncle Rodney Yale moved to Texas from California. I know he has siblings, but not sure how many, or what sex? I only know that his father's name is, Leslie Yale.
Thank you in advance ... Merle :)
