Surnames: Yalch, Yacubic, Maiers, Boris
Hi! I'm starting to look into my family background on the Yalch side. We hail from the Hazleton, PA area. My g-grandfather was born in 1866? in Austria-Hungry. He married a Mary and immigrated in 1887 and she in 1888. They had 12 children, 11 girls and 1 boy. I was wondering if anybody could help me locate people that have the some surname as I do. Thanks alot.

Hi Mary,

I am hoping that we have a connection here. My great great grandmother Mary Tomchick (sp?) married a Yalch in the Freeland/Hazleton area of PA. I do not know his last name but they had the following children: Elizabeth (Betty), Michael, Anna, Helen, and Andrew. My grandmother was a daughter from Mary's first marriage to Wassil Guydos who died before 1909 so Mary had to have married Mr. Yalch after that. Please contact me directly if you think that there may be a connection.
