Surnames: Jahner, Joner
Hi,

I also have Jahner / Joner in my family tree.

Our Jahners were from the Hayna, Herxheim and Jockgrim, Germany area. Does your Jahners have any connection from this part of Germany?

Our Jahners left this part of Germany and colonized in the Ukraine (near Odessa) before coming to Canada. I have seen the named spelled several times as Joner.

If you think there is a link, let me know.

Thanks,

Ron
