I seemed to have lost the last response, but the gist of it was that when we see a response that generates more questions, I think we should make an effort to identify ourselves. I would like to know who Catherine Doolittle is and who is JoAnne Gibbons, her daughter? Even though it has been awhile since I have worked on the Yahl line and am coming about a year late on this inquiry, I still would like to be able to connect those of us that do have information.

I have very recently been in contact with a third cousin who lives in France and she and her brother still own the home place in Reischfeld. We have had a lively conversation over the past few months, albeit somewhat difficult as neither of us speak the other's language. I have used Babel-Fish on Alta Vista.com to translate my written message into French and send it to her. She does the same for me. We found it very interesting that her granddaughter and my grand daughter look very much alike. These two little girls would be fourth cousins.
