      <title> Andrew J. Yacobozzi, son of the late Thomas and Mary Margaret Logue Yacobozzi. </title>

      <description>&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;            Andrew J. "Booty" Yacobozzi, age 64, of Millcreek, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Erie on November 17, 1946 a son of the late Thomas and Mary Margaret Logue Yacobozzi. He served in the United States Coast Guard. In 1970 he became an Erie Police Officer and retired from the department in 2004. He then worked at the Erie International Airport in security from 2005 until his recent illness. Andrew enjoyed Slo-Pitch and played with the Fraternal Order of Police, the Nuova Aurora Club and the Sport Page teams winning many championships. On August 24, 2011 he will be inducted in the Erie Slo-Pitch Hall of Fame. He was an excellent golfer and bowler. He played in many city golf tournaments and was a regular at Downing golf course. He was a member of the FOP Lodge #7. He is survived by his wife, Jenifer Yacobozzi, two sons; Andrew E. Yacobozzi, wife, April of Youngstown, Ohio and Edward T. Yacobozzi, wife, Heather of Mo.; a daughter, Christi L. Yacobozzi of Erie; and five grandchildren; Dominic, Brianna, Michael and Eddie Yacobozzi and Sakina McAdory. He is also survived by a sister, Mary Ann Yacobozzi of Erie, a brother, Thomas Yacobozzi of Florida and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call on Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Brugger Funeral Homes &amp;amp; Crematory, 1595 West 38th at Greengarden Blvd. A service will be held there on Saturday at 12:15 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Blessed Sacrament Church at 1 p.m.. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery with full military honors.
