O.K., first post here. My Great Grandfather is Johannes Georg Wilhelm Wagner (i think) so Amelia H.F. Joeckel (or Yackel) would be my Great Grandmother. I knew my Grandmother Alvina Wagner, but her husband Floyd Turner passed away in 1950, 9 years before my birth. There son, (my father) Gene Turner is still living.

Amelia H F Yackel was my Great Aunt on my paternal side.
Alvina Wagner her child was my cousin once removed.

I have Alvina with 2 husbands. The lst was Mack Lack and that is all I have about him. The 2nd Floyd Turner born about 1887 in Wisconsin. I have no children listed from either marriage.

So apparently you are the child of Alvina and Floyd Turner. I would like to know more about your siblings and any other information you would care to send.

My Father's family is very hard to find and not at all well documented. Both of my parents had died before I started to research my ancestry. My Mothers side is well documented and I knew her brothers and sisters. Dad never really talked about his family too much, but through the years I have met most of his brothers and sisters who lived in CA and NY while we resided in MN.

Amelia H. F. Yackel Wagner is my Great Aunt. Her Father was Peter John Joeckel 1835-1915 and her Mother was Augusta Luiberman 1832-1885. Amelia's brother Louis Yackel 1861-1907 is my Grandfather. His son Arthur John Yackel 1889-1966 was my Father.

Amelia's Father Peter John married twice. According to a first cousin of mine, he married a third time and moved to Texas. I am trying to find a connection for that word of mouth information. So far I have been unable. If you have any information I would appreciate hearing about it.

I have a family portrait of the Peter John family taken in MN with all of the children but his second wife Julia Stoege is pictured. There were no children from the second marriage.

Let me know if you would like a copy of it and I will gladly email it to you. My home email: muggs222@verizon.net.

Thanks

Do you have an exact date and place of death for Floyd Turner, first husband of Alvina Wagner, daughter of John G.W. Wagner and Amelia Yackel? I cannot find him in the online Montana Death Index.

I do not have the birthdate of Floyd Turner, nor do have his death date. I am sorry. If you have his birthdate I would appreciate having at least that much.
TIA

September 29th 1950. Rochester, Minnesota, at the Mayo Clinic. Floyd is buried at the Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester. My Dad had driven him to the Mayo Clinic for better medical care. Alvina Yackel Weber had a Daughter in Rochester, Esther (Weber)Simmons who was helpful during that time. Alvina Wagner Turner, and Floyd Turner had been in Wolf Point Montana since around 1917.

Chuck Turner answered the Floyd Blain Turner email I posted today.

He was born on: 26 Apr 1886 in Fennimore, WI and died on: 29 Sep 1950 in Rochester, MN at the Mayo Clinic.

Chuck said his Father drove him to the Mayo Clinic for better medical treatment. Floyd is buried at the Oakwood Cemetery in Rochester, MN.

Floyd Turner was the 1st husband of my Aunt once removed. I have not really pursued the geneology of that union. But Chuck Turner saw my reply to you with my email address, and contacted me today with this information.
