Terri,
I think you misunderstood my message. Check out the Zuniga message board. Particularly message with subject regarding Miguel Zuniga and Crisanta Gomez (my great great great grandparents). Isidro and Serafina, Miguel Crisanta's son and daughter were both married to Ximenez(Teresa and Jose) in Graytown, Floresville, Wilson County, Texas. Also, on another note, Crisanta Gomez was previously married to a Ximenez. They were all from Wilson and Bexar County area (Losoya, Graytown, Floresville, San Antonio and surrounding area). Records can be found in the Catholic Archives of San Antonio. Visit any LDS (Latter-Day Saint) Family History Center, a Historical Library or any University Library which has a historical section, you will be able to find records, information as to whichever family line you are researching. You already have half of the information to start with; you, your brothers sisters, your father, aunts and uncles and grandparents. In other words, your immediate family. Gather information about and from them. Ask them about the older generation, if they remember, ask for dates, places. Keep a journal and record all this information and substantiate with copies of documents, like birth, baptism, immigration, and death records. Visit cemetaries wherever you go and collect information on any and all Ximenez. Sooner or later you will find that they are all related in some form, shape or fashion. Also, post message on these boards. You'll find other distant Ximenez relatives. Good Luck. Keep in touch. Let me know how it goes.
