Catherine- If i recall correctly I think we exchanged some info years back about the Wyant family and maybe the Zimmermans.. I think you may have sent me a photo of William Wyant and some of the children and I was hoping if it was one that you sent me that you could help me identify who is who in the photo. Hope to hear back from you .

My g-g-grandmother was Lydia Wyant born circa 1815. She was married Jacob (Israel James)and had two daughters, Mary and Elizabeth. Mary was born in 1845 and My G-grandmother Elizabeth was born in 1946, the same year Jacob died. He was supposed to have inherited the family farm in Wyandot Co. Ohio. I don't know anything about her from that date until I found her buried in Indiana. She was listed as the wife of D. High. The census has her as divorced. Can you tell me if she is the daughter of Burket Wyant?

I have Lydia Wyant James wife of Israel buried in Keokuk Co., IA . If you go to findagrave.com and do a search for Burket Wyant you will see links to the children I have been able to locate and there is a link to Lydia's memorial with a picture of hers and Israels headstone along with links to her siblings and folks as well.

I guess this isn't my Lydia. She was born in 1815. In 1846, she was living in Hancock Co, Ohio. She was married to Jacob James. He died in 1846.

If this connects to any Wyant info you have, please let me know.
