JOHN V. WONDERLIN

Burlington, NJ Resident

John V. Wonderlin, age 95, died Thursday, December 11, 2008 at his residence in Burlington City.

Mr. Wonderlin was born in Bristol, PA and was a longtime resident of Burlington. He had worked for the John A. Roebling steel foundry in Roebling, NJ for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, darts, doing yardwork and gardening. Through his church, he helped gather fresh produce that he would share with his friends and neighbors.

Son of the late John and Mary (nee Green) Wonderlin, he was predeceased by his wives Goldie Wonderlin and Dorothy Wonderlin, his brother James and his sisters Helen, Mary, Marion and Dorothy. Mr. Wonderlin is survived by his sons and daughters in law; John and Gerry Wonderlin, Victor and Sophia Wonderlin and James and Jean Wonderlin, his daughters; Dolores Alers and Leonora Viereck, 22 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Eleanor Stepien and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 11am in the Full Gospel Fellowship Church, Jacksonville Rd., Burlington. Friends may call at the church from 9:30am-11am.

Burial will follow services in Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.

Memorial contributions to Vitas Hospice, 521 Fellowship Rd., Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054 would be appreciated by his family.
