My name is Herbert Whren of Washington, DC. Do you suppose you know my grandmother and grandfather? Jesse Whren and Gladys Whren? They both moved from Sumter and Charleston South Carolina to DC. My grandfather passed away, but my grandmother is still alive. I hear her mention the exact same names that are listed in some of the postings. My grandmother knows who Sol and Doll is. I'm 37 years old now, but my Granny has been discussing family history since my siblings and I were in elementary school. It would be great to hear from you,except, your last post is years old.
