Hello Sandra. I am Ken Middleton, son of Sarah Blumson born 1898. I have also researched the Blumson line and have gone back a couple more generations beyond Fanny and can say with certainty that this Blumson line originated in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire with Robert Blumson, born 1709, and Susanna Newman, both of whom married in the Fleet prison in 1738 having had permission to travel to London, the authorisation being signed by Roberts Uncle, a Thomas Blumson who was then a village elder. More if you are interested. Regards, Ken.

My tree only goes as far as Robert Blumsom and Sarah Newman. I am not aware of anyone living in the area of Wellingborough Northamptonshire. I live in Canada. Living in Kent, you are much closer. Should I hear of anyone, I will pass on the info. Regards, Katie

Thank you for responding Ken. I have no information on Frances siblings, and she could well have been called Fanny. She came to U.S.A. and died here in Wisconsin. My information says she was married 5 Oct 1812 in Saint Giles Cripplegate, London to Richard Wraight. I have been looking for her family for many years. Hope we can make a connection. One son was named Shorter, and Susannah seems to have been a family name. Parents of Richard Wraight were John Wraight and Mary Shorter. Any other information you can supply me, would be gratefully accepted.
