Jenny Wrage Madron was my great great grandmother. She lived in McCook, Ne for sometime with John Perry Madron. I've got more information if you like about her. Jenny used to live in the basement of my grandmother's house on 201 East 6th. in McCook, NE. John Perry built that house. Any way, my name is Travis Madron and you can e-mail me at tmadron@qwest.com.

FYI, there are some quilting artifacts that Jenny and her daughter did at the Methodist Church here in McCook.

Respectfully, Travis

The closest I might be able to come to your query is my Grandmother Jennie Wrage-Madron married John Perry Madron and lived in McCook, Nebraska in the early 1900's. The misspelling on a census roster said Madrid for the last name, but everything else was very close to their statistics. The roster stated that Jennie's father came from Germany and her mother came from Iowa. I don't know if this helps or not, but I'm trying to find Jennie's, (my grandmothers) roots. If you have anything that might match please let me know.

If anyone knows anything about her please contact me. She was married to John Perry Madron, my grandfather. I am not sure on the spelling of her last name. It could be Rage. I am told that she might have been Native American.

Mary:
I received your e-mail of Sept. 6th telling of the illness and death of Ellen Lamb Smith, and I am much saddened by that news. I will still be coming to Omaha Oct. 11 thru 16, but need addresses and phone numbers so kindly mail them to me at P.O. Box 3003, Lacey, WA 98509.I tried sending a longer letter to you this a.m. by way of welambs@nebraska.com, but it was returned, indicating that the postmaster could not find that name (?). Can you send me another e-mail address? Also you can find my fairly complete description of the previous 2 generations of the Ehlers family at http://www.familyhistory.com/messages/ShowMsg.asp?id=2254089 at the Ehlers Surname Message Board, message #26. Please reply, as soon as you find time after the funeral. Thanks,
"Cousin" Bill
